About Us

At Pathwork we have years of experience successfully treating depression, supporting substance abuse recovery, and helping individuals and families affected by more severe mental illness.

The clinicians at Pathwork offer individual therapy and couples counseling. Our approach combines trauma-informed psychodynamics with evidence-based action plans. We help you understand the origin of your difficulties while providing tools to affect real change. Whether it’s feelings of loneliness, desire for a more fulfilling partnership, or knowledge that your current habits aren’t serving you, we’re here to walk the path of change with you.

I meet my clients where they are at, offering a safe and judgement-free space to share what is going on. Together, we can remove the roadblocks in your way and get back on track.

I offer a relational and conversational style of therapy, where I use a variety of evidenced-based practices to facilitate change.

I have been working in the mental health field for over twelve years. In addition to private practice, I work with the County of San Mateo, where I serve as an expert witness. I am also on the Committee for Complex Clients, where I consult on best practices.

Together, we can redefine your past, create a better present and ensure a meaningful future.

My approach to therapy begins with evidence-based treatment, addressing the immediate reasons you’re seeking support, followed by deeper work with the subconscious once your day to day becomes more stable. I work with couples and individuals to recalibrate patterns of behavior that leave them struggling with depression, anxiety, co-dependency, or substance use.

I have worked with a variety of conditions, from mild to severe. My specialties include bi cultural relationships, depression, substance use, and career issues.

I have worked with members from diverse communities and welcome clients from all orientations, identities, and ethnic backgrounds. Although working in English, also I speak conversational Tagalog and basic Cantonese.
